The Sultan of Kedah celebrated hid 85th birthday on 20 Jan 2013.

1. DHMS - Darjah Paduka Seri Setia Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah with the title Datuk Peduka
Two recipients : Mukhriz dan General Radzali Daud
2. DGMK - Darjah Gemilang Mahkota Kedah carrying the title Datuk Wira.
Five worthy recipients: Abdul Hadi Hussin, Ismail Ibrahim, Lim Teong Kiat, Tan Hong Eng and Zulkiple Kassim.
